ok it's definitely time for an update..firstly i must recount my parents' 25th wedding anniversary on the 21st of december..it was excellent..had such a fun time with my entire family..started off with pre-dinner drinks at brewerkz which has amazing snacks..yes i must say this again and again and again! then headed across the river to the coriander leaf..had the tandoori chicken this time..excellent! that restaurant rocks..the decor is so nice and so is the atmosphere..everyone really enjoyed the food and the conversation and everything..it was a success!!! after dinner we headed over t0 the club for some karaoke..something we've never done altogether..so thirteen of us packed into this tiny room and made alot of noise and had alot of fun!

next highlight was christmas..spent the morning in temple attending a wedding..had my first round of lunch in temple..was delicious..then headed home and got ready to go over to max's..got there about 2 and sat around with narin and max talking and waiting for the rest to come..once keerthi, amarpreet and ashwin got there it was time for my second round of lunch..shepherd's pie, roast chicken and ham..yum yum!! after that we started playing our pass the paper game then some card games..all fun! and the presents were great..thanks friends! sorry about my lame present hehehe :) better ones for ur birthdays don't worry! spent the evening at max's dad's place..great dinner and interesting events or actually just one interesting event :p

on boxing day i had to do a performance..alone..again..very stressful and highly embarrassing as well as super tiring to be dancing a 4 to 5 minute long song all by myself!!!! but it turned out alright..

on wednesday i went to khalsa for the first giddha(pre-wedding ceremonies and partying) of the wedding i'll be attending on sunday..met up with alot of relatives..met aman again! had fun dancing and all hehehe.. tonight's the second one at the singapore chinese swimming club i think..nice place..more dancing!!!!! fun fun fun :)

last night went over to shaleen's place for her farewell party..was really enjoyable due to the usual majority IJ girl atmosphere! max was going abit crazy towards the end of the night but never mind...treepti, geri, max and i were the last to leave..just before 1 i think..the taxi driver was quite a funny guy..coz max and i were the last 2 to be sent home so when we dropped max off across the road from her condo she ran for the traffic light but didn't make it in time to cross..so the taxi driver told me to wind down the window and laugh at her! oh and max he said u are very cute :)

right i'm sure this is a long enough entry to keep charmaine satisfied for quite some time so i'm gonna go now!

alrighty people..let me tell you all about my trip to port dickson..

let's see we left our house wednesday morning around 8am for the 4 hour drive to PD..stopped along the way to have breakfast at machap, one of the rest stops..reached PD about 12 something i think and as we were driving along we saw the other resorts in PD and they all looked kinda old and not very nice so i started to get kinda apprehensive about where we were headed which was the guoman resort..so drove along drove along drove along and finally got there!! and phew the place looked great!

so we spent our first day checking the place out playing table tennis and swimming..but i didn't swim coz i was feeling sick..feverish and everytime i tried to eat i wanted to throw up..so i couldn't eat..

so on the second day we went into PD town..very old town..very old shopping centres..the rest of my family had lunch there but again..i couldn't eat..so we decided it was time i go see a doctor..quite a few clinics in the area..i chose to go to klinik port dickson..not bad..indian doctor..he was cool..i got 7 types of medicine in total!!! for my nausea, and fever, and cough and whatever..and it only cost RM38 i think..which comes up to about S$19..in s'pore simply stepping in to the doc's office would've cost $15 and the medicine would've added up to much much more! ya so anyway felt better after taking the medicine and i could eat again so that was great

on the third day we drove down to malacca by the old road instead of the highway..it's alot bumpier and slower but there's more to see as the old road takes you through some towns and stuff..haha and my sister started to feel carsick halfway so we had to stop for a while..we had lunch in malacca and walked around their prime shopping centre, mahkota parade, for about an hour before heading back up to PD by the highway this time..got back to the hotel, played some table tennis then headed out for some dinner

then on saturday, the last day, we packed up, my dad and sis went for a swim, then we had lunch in the hotel before leaving PD for singapore..we came back by the second link and oh man after clearing immgration at the malaysia side we got stuck at the singapore side for 2 and a half hours!!!!!! it was insane!!!!! pure torture!!!! craziness!!!!

k so that's the story of my trip to PD :)

boredom!!!! help me!!!! amarpreet ur job must rock coz the ice cream is superb and u get it free!! the monkey thingy was delish and ur co-workers are soo nice..toys'r'us was fun..reliving our younger days which are now so so so far away...as max pointed out in about 3 to 4 months me, max and geri will be 19!!!! aaaaaaaah!!! so old!!! omg narin you've only got 1 to 2 months left!

mimi khoo where are you???? what are you doing right now??? i'm guessing that u are frozen at the moment even though u are wearing 10 layers of clothes hehehe..let us know mimi!! blog asap!

ok great..just found out he's married..time to go drown my sorrows..or better still drown myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please somebody please help me get zayed! pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!!!! he was on the little video segment of koffee with karan again! i love him so so so much!

it's late..i've nothing to do..i don't feel like sleeping so i shall blog!!!

oook let's start with grad night..fun fun fun!!! everyone was so super glammed up and looking great! the food was alright, the activities fun, haha ronin came to perform..i thought they were good but the stuff the lead singer said was so scandalous it was hilarious! it was pictures galore..flashes going off almost non-stop inside the hall outside the hall in the toilet!! crazy!!! was a good end to our CJ lives :)

the after party at chinablack..FUUUUUUUNNNN!!! fantastic songs..crowd comprising mostly of CJCians..dancing dancing dancing!! loved it!

the hotel was superb! such a great view we had from our room! wished we could've stayed longer but then we would've had to pay :p

ashwin/arbind's birthday party tonight was excellent..the mutton rocked!! the games were funny and the music was good..my ears are still ringing coz we were dancing so close to the speaker!

mimi khoo has gone off to switzerland..such a waste that she had to miss the party tonight though..anyway she'll be back soon enough!

right so i'm gonna go read a bit of the chronicles of narnia and then go to sleep..got loads of stuff to do around the house tomorrow!!

i'm sick..it sucks...
