yesterday was funny..geri and i decided to go to amk library and get some studying done..we were supposed to be all hard core from about 2 to 7pm..basically 5 hrs of solid studying..so we get to amk library and there is absolutely no place to sit and study..soooo many people in the library..and not all are students..i saw some old dude playing around with his laptop and just all sorts of people all over the place reading and studying and whatevering..so after some deliberation we decided to quickly head over to the national library thinking that the place is so damn big there's gotta be somewhere we can sit down and do work..boy were we wrong..after like an hour long bus ride we arrive at the library to find out that there only 2 floors in the entire place designated to studying..and of course..again..the library was packed...it was a tuesday afternoon!!! don't these people have anything better to do???? apparently not...so what was next? since we were in the bencoolen area, prata was a must! so we sat and had prata and ice milo and tea..we were supposed to start studying at 2pm and by that time it was already 4+..so ok.. being in the vicinity of parklane made me wanna play pool so i begged geri and yay she relented so three games of pool later we finally start studying..where u ask?? mcdonald's at parklane..hahahahaha so much for all the library hunting..but it was cool coz i got quite a bit done..definitely much more than if i had stayed home..so we stopped studying at abt 9.30 then went to the arcade there and played daytona, time crisis and bishi bashi! haha it was real good fun..all in all a good day for me..studied n had quite a bit of fun! yay yay!

oh and now i'm in school..supposed to be readin poli sci but thatcan wait a bit..just spent like $38 on a t-shirt and a pair of earrings..they're having some bazaar in SMU..the stuff they're selling isn't bad...i bought an oscar the grouch tee..yay! ok better go finish my readings..

oh ya and btw my dear nus friends..u guys are studying too hard..ur on ur break but yet cannot meet for dinner??? come on people..relax a bit..

beginning of the sixth week of school..sociology midterm later today..wish me luck! oh and i have a driving lesson at 12..less than a month to my test! scary shit man..failing would mean having to wait eons for my next test so i had better be focused!!!

this post will not be all about work..it will serve to show that a still have some semblance of a life

so i spent 5 hours in school yesterday preparing for and carrying out my LTB show and tell..went quite well..a lot of effort was put in by all the groups and in keeping with SMU culture, everyone was really creative about it. A group that's working with and organisation called the TENT brought a huge tent and set it up and put a projector inside to showcase the work they had done so far...was definitely the most eye-catching set-up

after school met up with amarpreety at PS..she was five thousand years late..as usual...then geri came and we talked and laughed and laughed and talked while we had our dinner at BK..after geri and i went to watch john tucker must die at cathay while amarpreet went home to be a good girl and spend time with her family.. the movie was goooood..totally enjoyable chick flick...geri drooled a puddle! after the movie we walked down little india..saw the lights..walked somemore then caught the bus and headed home..

yeah so not very exciting times..but there's still something there!!!

ok now let me update everyone on my work for this weekend..i have a sociology exam on monday which means tt i have to study..damn...then i've gotta do a sociology journal entry, an LTB journal entry, a written assignment for comms and i have to start on my second stats assignment..oh and read never ending political science..how much of that i'll actually do i don't know..but i'm going to try and be good this weekend..meaning minimal msn, minimal tv, minimal lazing around doing absolutely nothing..i'll try..

shitus extremicus!!!!!! russell peters is having four shows in singapore in october and all are already sold out!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! i am very very very sad :( :( :( really really wanted to go..should've done something about it sooner...daaaaaaaaaaamn!!! shit lah...why why why??????????

gotta pass up stats homework tmr..hv i finished it? nooo..what am i doing now? blogging...aiyoyoyo..not good not good..well i hv started and i will get back to it soon so ya..gotta hand it in by 2pm tmr..i know i won't be able to finish it tonight which means i'm gonna hv to wake up somewhat early tmr..damn..the bane of procrastination..

i took the bus home from school today instead of the mrt..though it's a longer journey i figure there's no real rush to get home after school so i'm probably gonna do that every day..helps to majorly cut transport costs for me as well..was initially going to get the bus and train concession which would hv set me back $96 a month(insanity) but now i'll probably just get the bus one..

alrighty then..time to get to work! noooo..yes!! nooooooooooo..ok i hv to so i shld just shut up and go!

handed it my first assignment today..short writing assigment about requesting for a printer for my poor second floor department which doesn't have it's own printer but has to share a printer with the 4th floor department..hahaha communications class..funny funny..as usual my letter/memo thingy was ever so short..can't wait to see the lady's comments..still have not started on my statistics homework..nvm..still haven't started on poli sci readings..tt i'm gonna do right after this..

went for SMU netball training yesterday..was quite fun coz it was pretty slack..warm up, do basic drills and the play and play and play..but after the session they informed us that from next week we'll be having a coach..so ya..that's the end of netball for me! table tennis here i come!!! long day tomorrow..but looking forward to teh tarik from Mr Tea during poli sci break..yay yay!!

so yesterday i listed all the work i had for the weekend..well..i'm not even halfway through the second sociology reading..so i only completed one reading yesterday! too efficient..

this weekend i reallt have to get down to some work..got 2 assignments due next week..one for coomunications class and the other for stats..probably gonna have a problem with the stats one..mainly because i still haven't found my calculator..and got lots of reading to do as well..3 articles for sociology, 1 for communications, 2 for political science(endless)..and a few chapters for management..undecided as to whether or not to go for SMU's netball on training on monday..soo lazy..dunno if i really wanna play netball in school as well..oh ya and everyone please take not..I Am Sam is on tonight on channel 5..watch it!!! k lah gotta get to work now...

the weekend is gonna fly by as usual and it'll be back to school waaay too soon..the sociological imagination..noooooooo..confusing stuff man..i must say that i like my communications class, management class and poli sci class..i'm still very confused in sociology and..well statistics is just bad..gonna meet the buntz to study later..around gardens..can't believe we're actually studying so soon..usually people start studying towards exam time but the workload is so crazy that it's necessary to keep up..sucks man..what to do what to do..just suck it up for the next 4 yrs..
