feeling soooo relieved right now...the dreaded CAT is OVER!!!!!!!! submitted my group report about 20 mins ago and felt sooooo soooo soooo happy! haha and this morning i was one of the first people to go into the library..i found that really funny for some reason..especially since i had been sitting outside waiting for it to open hahaha yay yay yay..still in school though coz i gotta meet up with social psych peeps to finish up that project..and i hvn't even started my part of the report for that project but that's nothing compared to stupid ass cat..probably gonna be crying when i get my project grade back but no need to think about that for now..and i gotta get started on my second term paper for democracy..but i feeel waaaay better about everything now that this is out of the way!

just submitted my first term paper..and just saw the topic for the next one..help..

ok i just went to get soya bean pancakes from across the road and i noticed that CHRISTMAS decorations are already up on the trees along bras basah road..are these people crazy? christmas is a loooong time coming..it doesn't even feel close and it's actually 2 months a way..so why in the world are they decorating now???

I FAILED MY CAT MIDTERM!!!! i just hope and pray that this doesn't mean that i have to do the dreaded assignment 4! i do not have the time or the energy the dedicate a whole day to cat! looks like my gpa is going down again this term unless i can get As in intl econs, social psych and mpw..which i doubt is gonna happen........oh well it's just school(cognitive dissonance at work hehehe)

omg saturday was amazing! i got to meet zayed khan!!!!!!! it was for all of 3 mins but it was amaziiiiiiiiing! he's sooooooo nice and friendly and approachable and HOT..and cool at the same time thought that's a bit contradictory..hehe..this was actually kinda like a dream come true coz at one point in time(pre-Torres) i was mad about zayed and wanted to marry him..i'm sure was raving about it on this blog..so ya saturday was just excellent!

"Godly sex and sexuality conference".. is it just me or does that sound sooooo wrong..it was on a banner(huge lettering) hanging outside a church! saw it in the morning on the way to the mrt station..was soooo funny!

ya k so since i got interrupted by geri the other day i can't be bothered to cotinue my ranting about supposed "break" week..so i shall just go on about other things instead..geri and i ended up at McCafe at clarke quay that night to drink large hot chocolates with four marshmallows and cool designs on the foam..i will put up the picture of it when i upload it..so sit, talk, laugh, take pics, and then we got sleepy so it was time to go home..

so that was saturday night..then last night party..fun fun yay yay good mutton..and this morning it was WELCOME TO HELL!!! school is at it's worst right now..4 pretty heavy projects all due in week 12 i think..which is 3 weeks from now..a term paper dude next week..2500 words minimum..haven't started writing but have started researching at least..and another one due a month after that..and on top of all that there's readings to do for every single class..i've given up reading cat and international econs but gotta do readings for 3 other classes..i don't see how i'll have any time this week though..tmr's gonna be a crazy ass day..class in the morning..a meeting right after that..possibly for an entire 3 hours..then class right after that and after class i gotta zoom off to SP again for netball semi-finals..i can cry just writing all this out..

please let this all pass incredibly fast..

this past week was term break..BUT i was in school every day from monday to friday..i can't get over how horrible that is because even on regular weeks there's at least one day(thursday, my free day) that i don't go to school!!! project meetings galore..some useless and some finally making head ..ok geri has interrupted me..she wants to go to clarke quay..she is mad..i will continue this later...

random though this is, i've just realised that this blog is going to be 3 years old on the 26th of october..how time flies!

ugh ugh ugh.. i am in the library..studying.. ok technically not studying right now..taking a break.. i spent practically the whole of yesterday on my cat assignment and yet i only managed to finish it at midnight..again... thankfully this time i didn't have nightmares though.. then this morning i was a little late for class and i had to print my assignment before going to class and i had my cat mid-term today as well..so i rushed to get the thingy printed and then rushed to class..luckily the dude hadn't started the paper yet but anyway also it was a horrible as ass mid term and i pray that i can at least pass it BECAUSE if he thinks we need help to pass the class he will give us ANOTHER assignment..i CANNOT do another assignment..i really really can't..really really..i can honestly go on saying really forever..

i've got 2 more mid terms this week...heavy study subjects..democracy and social psychology..which is why i'm in the library..coz if i go home..i won't do anything..the library is pretty damn packed..i came here after lunch..went to the 4th floor..no space..went to the 5th floor..no space..haha i wanted to take it as a sign that i should go home but i'm gonna be a good girl this week so i carried on..down to the 3rd floor..managed to find a spot so here i am..sitting here..studying..december!!!! come quick!!!!

maybe i should use my excel skills and make a countdown to december thingy..hmmm...

in class right now..and so so sleepy..spent like 5 hrs yesterday..seriously 5 hrs..doing my homework for this morning's class..the excel class..finished arnd midnight and then thought i could get some sleep but noooooo..i had excel nightmares!!! could hardly sleep the entire night coz formulas were running through my head and i kept dreaming that i was changing my formulas and screwing up my homework and then i dreamt that i drove to school but couldn't get there in time and kept crashing into everything..haiz..sleepy..

watched swan lake on ice yesterday at the esplanade..hehe the first time i've watched anything there..was pretty cool..the theatre is like those on tv..so opera kind..and the show itself was really really good! it's really amazing what they can do on ice skates maaaaan! i sooo wanna be like them..hehe was thinking of the time we went ice skating during the hols and i was super scared to even move and the part when narin went FLYING hahaha funny stuff..

ok i think i've had sufficient fun already..happy now..so will attempt to devote the rest of the weekend to work..cat assignment..econs quiz..blah..

what's worse than a school week? a boring weekend...let's hope this one isn't...

i so cannot get into the whole school mode thing..i've kinda know i have a lot of things to do but i don't know exactly what coz i just can't seem to bring myself to check out what projects i have to do and when i have to get started and i wouldn't have known that i have a test this week if my professor hadn't mentioned something about it last week and i haven't even done the slightest bit of studying for the test..international econs..and i still don't wanna start..school for me this term is just like go for lessons come home and then forget about school altogether..and that's bad..MUST SNAP OUT OF IT! in a while...

i am REALLY dying her in CAT..computer as an analysis tool...exactly..the name itself says it all..it's about using excel to like project things liken profits and stuff like that and it involves using some kind of mathematical sense..and honestly...i think i have none..so i really have no idea how i'm gonna get through this class..

my week so far: monday and tuesday morning classes are booooring, tuesday afternoon i have management of people at work with a super nice prof so that's not bad and this afternoon was the best so far..social psychology yaaay!! and my dear friend fiza finally got back from pakistan last night and came for social psych today coz she missed hers yesterday so i tried to tell her as much as possible that had happened over these 4 mths and i don't think i've finished yet and she hasn't even started telling me about her summer! oh man it's good to have her back..

i have no school tmr yaaaay!!!

hehe i feel like running over to the house 2 doors down, they're having a party..i can hear the music from here..PARTY PEOPLE!!!

school..on monday..at 8.30 am..nooooooooooooo!!!!! after a 4 month break and the best holidays EVER the thought of starting school again is a total NIGHTMARE!!! back to the textbooks, the readings, the projects, the term papers, the exams(maxine is probably reading this and going yay how exciting!)..oh well..december is only 4 months away......

ok so that was just day one..day 2 in kl we had planned to wake up around 9am and then head to nasi kandar pelita, henceforth known as NKP, and then continue on to berjaya times square buuut of course we couldn't wake up by 9 so we woke up around 10ish instead and then got a move on..after our brunch we waited at the bus stop outside our hotel for a bus to take us to the nearby monorail station but obviously we didn't know which bus so we had to stop any bus that came to ask if it was going there..haha the second bus that came had like the conductor dude hanging out the front door shouting random places and the bus kinda just rolled on past us so geri shouted the name of the station we wanted to get to but the bus just kept rolling past! and then all of a sudden the dude shouted at us to get on the bus coz he actually heard geri so we ran to the bus and got on all flustered and the dude was superbly amused by us..we tried to pay and he was just like sit down sit down jangan kalang kabut and we were like ooook!

we got to times square and it was like shoe shops galore! so we spent quite abit of time looking around first and then we went to the indoor theme park and more than anything we were scared about leaving our bags in the locker there coz our passports and stuff were all in there thanks to the hotel staff not caring about helping us open our safe! annoying! though of course geri hadn't helped that situation since she had called housekeeping, told them what room we were in and then just started laughing at the lady on the phone! so ya anyway once our bags were safely tucked away we went bumper carring and roller coastering and spinning thingying and then max took a break while me and geri when on the thing that turned us upside down and hurt our brains!

after all that it was snack time for us at mcdonald's and then shoe shopping again! when we finally got tired of seeing shop after shop of shoes we took the monorail again to bukit bintang and walked around there then had dinner at a chinese restaurant and then went to this mini pasar malam place where geri and max bargained their asses off for "miu miu" bags..the people at the shop were damn entertaining and by the time we left the place, everyone knew geri's name thanks to max's incessant talking..and she ain't soft..

passed by an irish pub as we were walking and we decided to sit down for a drink and talk talk talk..was a nice place to chill..after that it was back to our hotel and more rounds of gin(card game NOT alcohol) and tai tee and then reading time and then lights out at 2am!

the weather on the third day was relatively clear so we decided that we had to go to the pool before we set out for the day..there was a funny man who wanted to play a game with geri..quite creepy..so we swam around for a bit then without even going up to our room to shower first we went straight to NKP for breakfast..after that we changed up and then made our way by LRT and cab to 1 utama..hugest shopping centre ever!!!!!!! there was no way we were gonna be able to cover the whole place so we just walked around as much as we could and we lunched at A&W..geri went slightly insane..wanted to steal curly fries off a man's tray after she finished hers..kept lamenting about the fact that they should appreciate their curly fries better..mad..

from 1 utama we took a cab back to the lrt station and the cab driver tried to cheat us of RM3 and so geri and max fought with the dude and were totally elated at having recovered RM2 hahahaha that was really funny! they were going on and on about how exciting it was to argue with the dude and i was all ok guys cool cool calm calm! we dumped our stuff at the hotel and our next stop was the night market at chinatown..getting there was another funny story involving the hotel limo driver who couldn't start his merc and the 3 of us just sitting in the back not looking at each other and trying not to laugh..he finally got the car going but it died again when we reached the place so he dropped us somewhere close by but by this time it was raining quite heavily so the 3 of us hooded up and ran around in the rain until we got to the place..thank god it was sheltered!!! so it was more bargaining and geri and max bought stuff and geri later proceeded to accidentally rip what she bought while trying to "stretch" it..

ok i need to wrap this entry up so the next morning we woke up, adventured to KL sentral and took the train from there all the way to singapore!!!! ok that's all!!!

our KL trip was absolute fun!!!!! geri max and i set on sunday morning at 8.30am on a bus heading to puduraya in KL..this was probably the earliest we had woken up in quite a while seeing as we're on holiday right now soooomajority of the bus trip consisted of this! the bus was only half-filled and when we were awake we were the only ones talking and that also talking loudly enough for the whole bus to hear(duh! max and geri are THE loudmouths of the group)..we stopped over at macap to grab a bite and for max to start her cup-of-corn-a-day-since-we're-in-malaysia ritual.

KL welcomed us with

rain and flooding! but thankfully by the tim we got off the bus at pudu it had pretty much subsided..and so our adventure began! we lugged our bags and ourselves over to plaza rakyat LRT station and from there proceeded to KLCC station which was the one closest to our hotel.

After checking in and dumping our bags in the room, we needed food and so, made our first trip toNASI KANDAR PELITA! oh how i miss it!!!! we ate there every day from sunday to wednesday! since KL was all rainy and stuff i was reduced to drinking milo panas(hot milo) so as not to freeze to death! but it was gooooooood! love roti canai! and they cut it up so love it even more!!! k so after eating we were just supposed to go have a look-see at KLCC buuuuut we got there and the shopping began! and we shopped till

we dropped! so we had dinner at one of the food courts there and then walked a bit to check out where Zouk KL was since we had found out it was pretty close to KLCC but since we were quite tired we headed back to our room to play gin and tai tee and read a bit and rest up for our next day's adventure!

ok this is a very long story which i can't finish now so i'll update more about the trip later!

Just another lazy Sunday

i did absolutely nothing today..or rather nothing productive at all..just watched loads and loads of tv! i only went out of my house once to send my dad and uncle to the mrt station but beyond that i was pretty much parked on the sofa or in the room watching tv..bad bad day for my eyes!

so tmr i have to try to unlazify myself and head to popular at toa payoh to get a revision book for tasha..was supposed to have done this ages ago..but well..it's me..heeeheee :p

Let's Get Loud

last night after geri and i had dinner/tea/bishi bashi with jiten we met narin and amarpreet and headed towards boat quay but had no idea where exactly to go and so amarpreet suggested we go to settler's cafe and so we went! maaaan it was totally the funnest..we started off by playing taboo and were already probably the noisiest/funniest table there, which the settler's staff noticed and so when we asked for our next game the guy gave us another one which required screaming and grabbing at stuff..i'd be scared to play that kinda thing with max though..fingers and arms all will probably end up broken! and we ended off by playing some hilarious egg game where one of the things we had to do was cluck like chickens to get an egg but we weren't really clucking, we were all just going claaaa claaa claaaa reeeaaaallly loudly(geri was the loudest of course!)..we absolutely have to go there again..and again and again and again..if not for anything just to see narin play taboo hahaha..the first round she had to describe to me we only got 2 correct coz half the time she was laughing her ass off

went to visit the ultimate cutie today! the little chimpy was sick but still soooooo adorable..his throat was soo bad that whenever he tried to cry like no sound would come out..poor little baby! he is now 5 months old and getting bigger and cuter and it's really gonna be extremely depressing when the little dude goes back to canada and we won't see him for a looong looong time..so if my planned hawaii trip works out next summer then i'll probably try and go to canada for a bit to see him! soooooooooo cute!

past few days have been fun and funny..thursday was especially fun/funny when geri, max and me went for a drive to the thomson area around midnight..we drove through this dark, deserted road to get to lower pierce and all the time max was going: if u don't wanna be scared don't look at the trees, what if u see some figure crossing the road now and all that shit and geri's going: shuddup shuddup shuddup max it's not funny shuddup shuddup shuddup and i'm trying to just concentrate on the road instead of looking at the trees or looking out for figures crossing..so then we finally get to lower pierce and then cannot decide if we actually wanna get out or not but eventually decided to just park and walk for abit..so we start walking from the car park and max starts her stuff again and geri starts her stuff again and we're all holding each others' arms and then we see the resevoir up ahead and i go: oh no you know what this reminds me of? and geri goes: shaan nooooo! hahaha we had both been thinking of the movie what lies beneath hahahah and then we both turn around and drag max back to the car but max didn't wanna go yet so we're all just laughing and pulling each other and freaking out but in the end me and geri won and so we left and geri couldn't sleep on her own that night!

then on friday what i thought was going to be a relatively early night turned out to be an incredibly late night/early morning..i had been invited to a party at my SMU friend's condo and so brought geri and max along..we reached there arnd 11pm..pretty late hehe and by that time the people there were ready to move on to attica so we just had some food and were there for all of 20 mins before we left again for clarke quay..so we went to attica and danced danced danced then we wanted to check out the rupee room so we headed there around 3am i think..not a bad place but not at all what i expected..i expected it to be waay posher and populated by expats but nope it was a total bhangra night in there..but it was nice and we had fun..from there we went to bollywood dhoom for a bit(smallest dancefloor ever) and then had ice milo/tea/water and shah alam and then FINALLY headed home..i reached hom arnd 6.30ish and was dead tired! woke at around 1 pm on saturday and have been pretty much doing nothing these 2 days..

i think my bidding for next term's courses starts tomorrow and i have no idea what classes i wanna take so i'm gonna have to get to that ASAP! that's about it for now : )

WHAT A NIGHT! it is now 7am and time to sleep...

the heat today was blistering! it was seriously insane..as it has been for like 2 months or so now..and who is to blame for the psycho heat? WE ARE!! the heat is the result of global warming which is the result of our selfishness and stupidity and lack of caring about the earth..we've taken it soo much for granted that i seriously think it's now gonna self-destruct all thanks to us..first we put a hole in the ozone layer then we heat up the earth to boiling point..what are we going to do next?

everybody please save paper and save the trees and save fuel and save whatever you can save! let's do something before we all dieeeee!!!

went to see amelia off yesterday..she's headed to monash in melbourne! maaan i really want the experience of going away to study so i may consider going to grad school but i really hv no idea if i wanna study that much..we'll just see where SMU takes me first..hopefully i organise myself and get round to actually going for exchange.. to SPAIN! hehehe :) aiyah knowing me it'll never happen..school's gonna start in slightly more than a month!!! shit man!!! holidays have been soooo sooooo great i think i'll just wanna kill myself when school starts..

so anyway yesterday after sending amelia off i met geri at the airport and then we drove down to east coast to meet jillian..the drive in itself was hilarious coz i did stupid things but nvm..so then we met jill and just sat down at one of the benches by the beach and ate and talked and recounted all of geri's nonsensicalness(none of our meetings can go without this ritual) and we found out that jilly p won't be here next year during geri's and my 21sts.. so i'll have to give our intended speech at geri's 21st party all by myself..thanks alot jill for ditching me! i still think you should fly back for the thing! hehe..k so after eating and talking and taking many pics we went bowling..again..haha it was fun and funny as usual! there were some young dudes next to us..just a little younger than us only and one of them was using jill's 7-pound ball so she was all upset coz we only had one and she had to wait for him everytime..and thankfully yesterday geri didn't drop the bowling ball but on her last throw she decided to try out the 7-pound which was waaaaaay too light so she flung it and it CRASHED onto the lane and i swear i thought it was going to fly onto the next lane when i saw her release but luckily it didn't and it just ended up straight in the longkang :) fuuunnnnyyyy!

although the holidays have been totally fun so far coz we've all spent alot of time with each other and stuff we still have yet to do any of the things we've been wanting to do for eons such as ice skating and a trip to escape or wild wild wet or whatever...and we haven't even gone to the beach or swimming or cycling! somebody better get planning! there's not much time left!

went to watch a late night hindi movie yesterday with nari, geri and harvz..was ok..i guess..the storyline was different from the usual but still a bit cheesy..and the show was about boxing...i hate boxing...it's so brutal! and so the movie ended at 3am i think and narin had driven there so we walk to the parking lot and reach the car and discover that one of her tyres was FLAT!!!! haha and then chaos ensued coz we didn't know what to do and narin was like how could this happen and we were like it's not ur fault don't worry hahahaha..so she called her mum who told her to just leave the car there so we cabbed back! was soooooo funny!!!

had father's day dinner this evening at charlie's in changi village..love that place man..their fish and chips are the BEST BEST BEST ever..it's such a small little place but it has always done so well..it's been around for soo many years but still it's popularity has not waned even one bit! went with my dad, mum, and grandma..sister was busy with her own friends..and now is puking kang kong from chomp chomp..ew..

dance practice tmr..probably gonna be the final one i'm thinking..hopefully we get it perfect! quite excited to perform it yaaay!

oh ya i met with the netballers for lunch today at this place in tampines safra called Sakura..they have some international buffet thingy there..not bad food..great desserts(yummy cakes of course)..after eating we spent such a long time drafting our complaint letter..haiz i really hope everything works out..it really is time for a change..

so annoyed right now..it's been such a tiring day..slept pretty late again last night and woke up relatively early this morning..headed straight to work and from work straight to dance practice..left narin's hse at 4+ and headed straight back to work till about 7.15pm..come home and get begged by my sis and cuz to accompany them to the club..i just wanted to have a chill session at home today but i agreed to go with them for about an hour or so..so i'm like super hungry right now and i have to go to the club at 9 coz he's avoiding the place but he can't even get me what i want to eat from chomp chomp..whenever i have to go get food "it's just a five minute walk" but if he has to go, "it's such a chore"..not happy...

hehe sorry geri about not wanting to do the movie marathon/sleepover thing tonight...u know me..i'm just tooo damn lazy..which is a really really bad thing..and what's funny is that i was just talking to my aunt and uncle about the importance of seizing the day earlier this evening..haha i was saying that even though most of the time i'm super lazy to do anything sometimes i know i should just get up and go! haha so much for all the talk..this is exactly why i belong in the ATNA club :) oh well..we will definitely get to it some other time!

ok so here's me attempting to update regularly..goot gerl aren't i?? heeeheee so yesterday after dinner at RK with the cherry, the cherry wanted to go to tavistock park..something we hadn't done in quite a while..so we walked through one of the long roads that leads from serangoon gardens village(as it's called, i'm not trying to be cool here) to tavistock and went to the park to sit on the swings and..well..swing..man it had really been the longest time since i had been on the swing and it felt really nice..only thing was the swings were incredibly noisy and creaking like crazy but it was fun!

it's always nice to do these kinds of things with friends and i think that's why last week was really really fun coz each night we seemed to be out just doing the whole laughing and talking and playing the "finger game" at rk kinda thing..clubbing and other such shit really cannot compare to times like those..

went for my heart appointment in the morning..really hate going for it..even though i only have to go once a year it's just so annoying to have to sit there and wait and wait and wait..thankfully i had a book with me..if not would've DIED of boredom..and always surrounded by old people..i don't wanna go anymore!!!!

tmr is dancing time again at max's house..hope we can finally finish it up! i just hope that my nose can like unblock itself by tmr morning coz it has been irritating me like hell all day!

ok another late update..got back from KL around 2.30am last last sunday morning..the trip was pretty fun but we came in second this time..damn giants!! but whatever..we had fun! but there was a ton of drama again coz the woman's irresponsibility reached like a whole new level..i really can't believe her..and this time round i seriously wanted to kill her..i've been able to put up with all the nonsense all this while, but after this trip, from the first evening at the managers' meeting already she pissed me off like hell and it only got worse after that!! was quite upset at losing the final..was a close game at first ad we were in the lead at one point but then at some time during the game FT got a like 4 goal lead over us and it was just all downhill from there..we lost 28-22..we'll get em next year!



k so last last sunday evening was SKINNED..it went super super well! sharda did an excellent job putting the entire event up and there was absolutely no hiccups..haha our dance went pretty good as well though i'm so sure i screwed up the first part coz i was stepping on a wire and that made me scared that i was gonna trip and fall..we were dancing on grass so the ground was already uneven! but everyone seemed to really love it so it was all good :)



on monday i don't remember what happened..tuesday also i'm not sure..wednesday also forgot..thursday??? all i know is that every night last week was a late night and i am seriously still lacking sleep coz i had a lot of relatively early mornings as well!

ok on friday i went for the amarpreet's cousins giddha thingy..man was it packed! by the time my mom, dad, grandma and i got to khalsa there was nooo place left to sit even..after a while of looking around for miss amarpreety and not finding her i decided to call her only to find out that she was just on her way! usual hehe..dancing time was fun of course but i didn't wanna intrude on the family thing and so left amarpreet to her cousins and headed to join max, geri, narin, harvey and jiten at boat quay..that was pretty fun as well

saturday morning had to wake up early to go for a wedding in yishun then came home and went to work for a while..after that went to watch the netball super league finals at toa payoh..damn good match even though it was kinda one-sided..and then after that rushed home to get changed and head out again to watch ocean's thirteen with max and ashwin at lido..man i was so late that once i got out from the mrt at orchard i was pratically running..the idiots didn't believe that i'd make it before the movie started so they left my ticket with the usher and went in first..but i did make it in time so yay me! was a really good movie! after the movie we walked all the way down to selegie to have tau hui..we sat by the dustbin..was really quaint hehehe..wish i had a camera that night!

on sunday i went for amarpreet's cousins wedding in the morning..superbly crowded again! then came home and slept for a bit before getting up and getting ready to go for narin's bro's gig at bar none..oh and amarpreet i heard that ur performance was excellent! really wish i had been there to see it!

k so today is another monday and i am sick..have a minor cold..went for dance practice at nari's house..we struggled to come up with more steps but it is progressing thankfully! gonna meet geri for dinner in gardens later and since i didn't go to work today i have to spend the whole day at work tmr once i get back from my heart appointment!

i really should update more often instead of writing these kinds of damn looong posts which no one is going to read anyway!

done with most of my packing! last minute things still have to wait till tmr morning...or later this morning rather..hehe took pretty long to pack..NOT because i am bringing tons of stuff but i just went about it really slowly and did lots of nonsense in between! my bag is really big though..but that's coz it's a big bag and not coz it's full of stuff! hehehe i feel too awake right now..but i sooo need to sleep..

i have sooo many things to do in these 2 days! worrking now..dance practice later..then meeting fiza for dinner and pirates coz she's leaving for pakistan tmr! and then tmr i've gotta go get some last minute stuff for my trip..like new socks..and then i gotta teach my cuz and in the evening will be our final training session before we leave! oooh and i have to pack!!!! i sooo hate packing..always over-pack to be on the safe side then end up with one huge ass bag..usually bigger then everyone else's..then they all laugh at me..but nvm!

so the KL trip will be all netball netball netball and then we'll be back like super early sunday morning and then it's sharda's event which we're dancing for sunday evening so basically it's no rest when i get back till the dance is over! busy busy life!

hehe very long since i last blogged..have had tons to write but as usual i've just been too lazy..what's been up these past 2 weeks is basically netball, dance practice, geri going to london, max coming back to singapore, a weekend johor trip with my family, amarpreet leaving for india, geri coming back from london, a zoo outing with the super-seveners and more netball and more dance practices!

i'm leaving this wednesday for the gurdwara cup..being held in KL this year..panic is kinda starting to set in for me since we're going to the home ground of our strongest competitor and we've heard that they're been training really hard..like duh..we're defending champions at the moment but our training has been really irregular and we don't even have a full team this year so when we do have training it's really difficult to train properly..stress..well we'll just go play our hardest and see what happens! please be cheering and praying for us from here people!

going to buy a new digi cam later..hehe exciting! so damn bloody difficult to decide! i've got 3 options at the moment and i really can't just cancel any one of them out yet..i was totally irritating my aunt and cuz with my camera dilemma yesterday and this morning i was still trawling through cyberspace and reading as many camera reviews as possible in order to make the right decision! ok my dad's back..gotta run!!!!

it's been quite a while since there's been someone so damn tiny around.. which is why i'm really going crazy over my new little cuzzie..he's 3 mths old and soooooo sooooooooooooo adorable..seriously all i wanna do all day is just sit next to him and watch him..was really late for work today coz i just didn't wanna leave the little dude..cuuuuuuute!!! and oh sooo tiny..took like million photos of him and my sis took many many short video clips..wish he could stay small forever but that's obviously not gonna happen so we'll just keep as many reminders of his tinyness as we possibly can :) :) :) so hard to imagine that all of us monstrosities(by this i do not mean that we're all monsters, i just mean that we're big) were once that small and innocent and carefree..

haha geri was also taking care of a little baby today and yesterday we were discussing the grossness of poop with narinder and both me and geri were like ew..poop..we don't wanna clean it..so we've both decided that if and when we have babies we're gonna call narin to clean em since she seems so on about it :) thanks in advance buntz!!

aaaah..so horrible when everything goes so well and u do one stupid thing and then ur whole night is ruined!!!!! me, jill and geri went to the UK funfair thing at woodlands and had a great time even though i turned off at the wrong exit and spent like 5000 years parking when we finally got to the right place..everything was all good and fine..then after i dropped jill off and was doing a u-turn i just had to go and misjudge the damn thing and i scratched the front rim..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...serious devastation..so horrible that i just had to go and do that and spoil eveything.....................

arsenal-chelsea game is going well so far..some consolation to my ruined evening..

DAMN IT!!!! so saaaad..admittedly Milan was the better side and Man U were pretty disorganized and stuff but having come into the match only needing a draw to go through i was really looking forward to it being a Man U-L'pool final! 3-0 was a rather harsh scoreline, 2 of the goals(the first and the last) were pretty solid and couldn't be helped but the second goal was basically brought about by the nonsense that vidic and heinze were up to just before it was scored..whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy???? aiyah nvm lah..was a pretty good match to watch though pretty lacklustre on United's end except around the 60th minute when they seemed to be really trying but just couldn't make it! oh well..Milan deserved it..the final should be pretty fun :)

kkk time for an update! so today was the vesakhi mela(funfair thingy) and in the morning all the sports tournaments were held..netball, hockey, soccer..so this year we told our manager lady beforehand that we were gonna be forming 2 teams to play and that she would have to handle the tournament..so all she did was get us refs from netball singapore..which was pretty good for her but i was still annoyed (though i totally expected it) that she didn't come early to do the fixtures and get things organized..the morning was super duper hectic and i was like all tired even before the matches even started especially since we got to khalsa around 7.45am!!! and then there was the energy-sapping killer sun but it was all good..had a lot of fun..love netball!!! the after tt had lunch and then went home and then back to the mela again since my dad was going..brought geri along this time so she could go meet all her friends hahaha..had fun chatting with soni and amrita..we were just standing around telling each other all the lame jokes we know..fun fun..and now i'm at home..supposed to be sleeping coz i'm gonna meet some friends for a midnight movie later and i'm so so so incredibly tired but i was hungry so i couldn't fall asleep and i was hungry coz i was lazy to eat..so yeah..now i'm awake and tired.. :) but i had fun today :)

Thank you all so much for celebrating my birthday with me! i had the funnest time at hard rock with all the catching up, the cam whoring and the old unforgettable stories retold a thousand times but are still always always funny! Thanks soo sooooo much for the wonderful presents..i loved them ALL!!!! and thanks sooo much for the cards as well!! oh and a big thank you to Richard for being so incredible efficient with the photo sending! i came home that night and already he had uploaded everything! max don't think we forgot you coz we even took a s7 photo with richard sticking his arm out as if u were there..now we just gotta cut and paste u in!

major weekend highlight (slightly delayed): Man U 1 L'pool 0

waaahahahaha..the losers lost..again! fun/extremely tiring weekend..saturday especially man..had bloody BGS exam sat morning..dumbass subject but nvm..after tt came home and then headed out again..to tiong bahru to meet up with T31ers..went to Ms Lim's house..was totally fun meeting up with everyone again..hvn't seen them in a year! and ms lim was so funny telling us all the current CJ staff politics after that headed to khalsa for netball training which was killer/excellent! i love netball..but still wishing our manager could be more managerial so tt i can just chill out and play..don't think it's gonna happen though so nvm..i'll deal..next of course was THE match! yaaaaaaaaaay! wish the match had been more like the west ham-tottenham one though..7 goals! maaaaaaan! and then after the match was party time at my friend DK's place so basically tt was more of an early morning than a late night which translated to sunday being a "sit and stone the entire day" day..geri stayed over and we watched 4 episodes of prison break 2..having to pause every 5 minutes to explain to her what was going on! usual..

10th week of school right now..3 more class weeks i think then it's study break and exams..so close! hating our BGS major project..coz i hate everything to do with BGS but great thing about it is tt our chosen industry..media..allows us to have really interesting interviews with newspaper reporters..yeah so tt's the only plus coz we get cool perspectives from them regarding..stuff.. :)

aaaaaaaah yaaaaaaaay!!! my class got an A+ for our creative thinking presentation! yaaaaaaaaaaay!! let me explain a little more..creative thinking lasts only half a term and so last week we had to put up either a performance art piece or installation art along our underground thingy..and this is like a project put up by the entire class so everyone works on it and everyone gets the same grade in the end..so the issue that we chose to highlight through our performance piece was the commodification of maids..like u know how u see all those agencies that put the maids on display and stuff and then some agencies tell their maids to lie abt their marital status and religion etc so that they're more "marketable"...so our piece was just about that..how the foreign women come here looking for opportunity but in compromise must kind of suppress their histories/identities in order to be "packaged" as the perfect maid..it was cool..yay! i was part of the presentation team and after the performance we had to answer qns from the examniers..man were the qns tough..and they just kept pressing and pressing and pressing for more..pretty scary..but in the end all went well and now CT's over so i only hv 4 classes per week with thursday being the best day ever..school from 12-1.30pm and that's it! my weekend starts..muahahaha! life's good..

tired tired tired...RMSS midterm is over thankfully..didn't finish studying for it coz the book is incredibly boring but since it was an mcq paper i think i should do ok..this is gonna be an annoying week full of meetings for various projects and we've got our creative thinking final project on thursday..man i hope that turns out good..i hate BGS!!!!! i miss LTB and my groupmates so much! i loved last term..really not liking this term at all except for psych..yay to this term being pratically half over! 2 more months and it's freedom again!

Vas and Pris got in! yay for them! and Anna Nicole Smith passed away..

i happened to stumble onto the Dancefloor..as in the show..while i was having my dinner..caught the last 2 dances...was totally BLOWN AWAY by Vas and Pris, the last couple to perform..they did the quickstep and it was INCREDIBLE!!! such a bloody fast-paced dance and the girl has to wear heels and not fly off the stage..they did such a great job! sooooo synchronised even though the pace was blistering..woooooooow! while i was watching the performance before theirs i was just telling myself that i don't wanna vote for this show but after their dance i just had to vote for them coz they just have to continue coz they are just toooo good..incredible performers..what a dance..i can't get over it..oh man..goooo Vas and Pris!!

watched Half Nelson with geri at the picturehouse yesterday..loved it! if i go into an explanation as to why i love it, it's gonna take forever..so let's just leave it at it was such a good movie everyone should go watch it..end of story..

my sister once asked me why i never write about her in my blog..so i told her that i ALWAYS want to write about her but NONE of it is good..so being the kind soul that i am i just refrain from writing instead of letting everyone know what she's actually like..today's another one of those wanna-write-about-her-but-it's-all-bad-coz-she-totally-pissed-me-off days..that girl...................................................................................................seriously....

just finished watching the arena..not for the debate *sighsighsigh*..though it was a pretty interesting topic..singaporeans and humour..ha ha..

psych mid-term on saturday!!! heeeellllllpppp! my psych textbook is quite a good read coz there are some parts that are actually pretty funny..so it's not so bad studying psych..and since that's my intended major i had better love it!

last week was a pretty fun/packed week..wanted to update but never got round to it..as usual..tuesday to thursday was spent panicking about my creative thinking essay which was due by class time on thursday..in the end had to wake up at 6.30am on thursday morning to get it done coz i can never never seem to do anything well unless i do it at the very last minute..netball on thursday was cancelled due to rain so i ended up meeting christine and richard at frujch and then we had dinner at raffles city..lazed around during the day on friday and then met geri and aman in the evening for dinner etc etc. at arab street and some other etc. etc. after that and then on saturday i had a BGS meeting in school..hate bgs but nvm..after that netball at khalsa which was really funny coz we thought our coach wasn't coming so we were taking our time and stuff and then the coach walks in and we like throw our bottles aside and spring into action..and then after that met up with geri again..and then on sunday was again slacking during the day then met up with fiza and tashna, my friends from smu, coz it was fiza's b'day..ended up having dinner at arab street..again..was good fun!

and now even though i should be panicking again coz there's no way i'm gonna finish reading psych by saturday since i've been slacking so much, i'm here taking my time writing this..not good.. :)

ok so i'm sitting at my desk for the first time in like 2 mths coz i finally decided to clear it just enough for my laptop to fit and i've been sitting here for about an hour and a half already and i just suddenly looked up and lo and behold my "lost" camera is sitting on the top shelf of my desk..so blur..

quick update before i get started on my creativity essay.. i PAAAASSSSSEEEEEEDDDDD!!! ok for those who have no idea what i'm talking about..i passed my driving test!!! yaaay!! yesterday was my second attempt at the practical test..when we were in the waiting room where the test route and testers are decided i was really scared i'd get the same route as the last time..the infamous route 2! ok so they started aby giving the first person route 5 and then 6 7 8 9 10 1 2 3 4..and my name wasn't called at all for any of the earlier routes so i was starting to feel very very nervous coz i had a feeling i was gonna get route 2 again and I DID! aaaaaaaah...i really just almost had a heart attack man...but thank god i had like the nicest tester ever!he gave instructions waaay in advance and stuff and that really helped coz i could plan what i was gonna do..circuit was alright again but i did do one really funny thing..he asked me to do parallel parking first and i was very nervous so after i'd postioned my car to start my attempt..i looked behind to start getting into the lot and i released the clutch and pressed the accelerator slightly anf my car went forward!!! i was like whaaaaaaaaaat am i doing??? hahahah i had forgotten to put the damn thing in reverse..it was sooo funny!!! but after that everything else went ok..oh and i also kept my car moving slowly when there was a dude walking right in front of it when what i actually shld've done was completely stopped..so i got warned for that and 8 demerit points! my total was 12 demerits and i passssssseeeeeeed! man when i saw him ticking the passed box i was so so so happy! couldn't stop smiling :)

and then when my dad came home i drove my family to mustafa which was scary..my mum was going crazy! telling me to slow down when i was already pretty slow on the expressway and then after that telling me to slow down every 5 seconds then telling me i was very daring coz she wouldn't dare drive at that time and to that area when she's had her license for quite a few years now! she's funny...but it was fun!! ok lots of work to do now! hv to get started...

narin's birthday dinner tonight was fuuuun..geri, amarpreet, chris, mari, charmaine, richard, me and of course the birthday girl herself who asked us to come at 7pm but got there at like 7.45!! had dinner at new york new york..lots of picture taking as usual but pictures that will never make it to my computer coz they were on narin's and charmaine's cameras..sigh..i kinda don't know where my camera is right now..been looking for it but can't seem to find it..oh well..after dinner we headed to haagen daaz for chcocolate fonduuuue!! hehehe we all went a bit mad over the fondue..acting as though we'd never seen or eaten it before..we were dropping things, banging stuff around..getting chocolate on our faces..nearly poking each other's eyes out with the forky thingy..hahaha madness..by this time richard had already left, if not there would have definitely been a whole lot more chaos! alrighty..sleepy time..

what a week..an incredibly tiring week man..fell sick on wednesday..kinda passed it to frying pan..oops..still kinda sick..have netball today..aaaaaaaaand it's NARINDER'S BIRTHDAY!! yaaaaay!! HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY BUNTZ!!! so we're all going for dinner tonight..yay yay yummy food.. and amarpreet, geri and i spent like 2 hrs yesterday walking around and around looking for presents for her..narin u had better like 'em!!! after we were done with that we tagged along with geri and her parents for dinner at this place called mustard..delicious north indian food..loved the ambience too!! oh and the mutton....wooooooooooooow!!!!! it was sooooooooo good! divine, as jasmine would say..ok i could go on forever about the mutton but i shall not..i'm off to find myself some breakfast now...

yaaay ugly betty won best comedy at golden globes! i sooo wasn't supposed to watch any tv this morning coz i have so much work tt i hvn't even touched but i switch on the tv and aaaaah golden globes!!! so now i have to sit here till 12 hehehe

first week of school is over! only like 13 more weeks to go i think...by the looks of it, this is going to be a very hectic term but whatever..i'll just have to get through it..
