i'm sick!!! i have been sneezing like crazy and my throat is super painful...geraldine indra d'cruz thanks alot!!! but it's alright..i'm gonna party with my friends tonight and i'm sure that'll cure me...either that or i won't be able to get out of bed tomorrow...haha the homework i've been talking about this whole month is still around and not completed..2 days to go till school reopens...i have time...quite excited to see what the new J1s are like..hehehe...but sooo don't wanna go back to lessons and stuff...cry...

Tribute to 2004

i'm sitting here with 2 mosquito bites on each arm...i am not happy...aaaaaahhh...itchy!!!!! ok nevermind i will have to endure! tomorrow is the last day of 2004...another year just flew right by...it was a really fun year...being in CJ with my friends..learnt to deal with the stressing demands of jc life...5.10 days..oh man..had an excellent class...1T31..great mix of people..never a boring day..CJ really gave us alot in terms of experiences..started of the year doing something new..dragon boating..joined netball in school...also a first for me..economics and general paper..two completely new subjects i did this year..mass pe in CJ...KILLER!! ran cross country for the first time early this year...IJ never gave us that opportunity..haha joined ICS...never thought i would..went for the Pre-U Seminar in june...that was a fun experience..really enjoyed it and wished it had lasted longer..made new friends there but didn't keep in touch(typical of me)...PW was also something new...it was probably the part of jc life i hated most...pure torture..thank god it's over and done with..2004...my last year studying punjabi(that is if i pass the paper)...wow....haha i definitely won't forget our post exam canoeing thingy...that was soooo funny...met funny new people like keerthi, richard, amelia and ruyin this year...and got closer to amarpreet and charmaine as well...drifted from some...annoyed with some...infatuated with some...maaan what a year...went up to kedah this year...first time...major shocker for the year was the earthquake and tsunami that left total destruction in it's wake...Singapore is soooo lucky we're surrounded by other islands coz had it hit here...the whole country would be gone...all in all though i think 2004 was a great year...let's hope 2005 will be an even better one...

how to usher in the new year is my latest dilemma...bhangra night/no bhangra night...if bhangra night, which bhangra night? hahaha...i've got till tomorrow on this one...

taking a break from wrapping presents...only wrapped 2 so far...my wrapping is really bad so i want to apologise to all those people receiving stuff from me...please please please don't laugh...PLEASE! coz my mum juz made fun of my wrapping : (
maaan...oh well at least i'm making the effort..went to the expo yesterday for the kirtan(translation: hymn..as in holy song..) thing...was good..was crowded...lots of interesting people...mostly intesresting to narinder though...hehehe...wanna go again today but my mum and sis don't really wanna go so i guess i won't as well..it's christmas tomorrow but it doesn't feel very christmasy to me...haha can't wait to unwrap presents though..gotta get packing for our trip to johor as well...i hate packin...better get back to my wrapping...

i watched oprah yesterday...i don't usually but i sure as hell didn't regret watching yesterday's episode..it was about her trip to south africa one christmas..it was really sad coz there were thousands of children there...dirt poor, orphaned, diseased...they have nothing...NOTHING...and here we are...with sooo much..and all we do is complain complain complain and feel shitty and depressed and whatever about the most trivial stuff ever...we don't even know what suffering and true sadness is..it's shows like the one i watched yesterday that can really wake u up..we should really be some of the happiest people around...and the best thing about oprah is instead of just talking and doin nothing about their situations, she actually did something...she gave them each a backpack full of goodies..basic stuff(we'd probably even consider it useless)..but to those children it seemed the greatest gifts they had ever received...i honestly can't even imagine being like them...this world needs way more oprahs...

reflection: isn't blogging a form of talking to yourself? haha everyone's goin craaazy!! bad hair today..maaan it was great straight but now that i washed it it's just a mess...it's curling all over the place and looks so bushy i could cry...feels good but looks shitty and i don't know what to do about it : ( so anyway went to bugis today with max, buntz n charmaine..actually did some shopping and now i'm broke...bought 4 new tops..nice...hehe me n charmaine went mad in the maketplace opposite parco when we saw this glittery butterfly top..there were 2 pieces and we got 1 each..so happy!! was feeling kinda sick and tired in the afternoon while shopping but perked up again after a rest and a ribena..it's christmas next saturday and 2 weeks till school reopens..time is really flying..it seemed just a short while back that we first came to CJC but we're about to start our second year..A levels..aaaah...hahaha juz a bit of drama...gotta go sleep now...as usual waking up early tmr for khalsa netball..CJ netball on monday...my legs are getting so muscular it's gross...super skinny legs with big calf muscles..ewww..oh well..for the love of the game!

juz got back from chillin with max n geri(finally showed up)...tired and wanna sleep coz gotta get up kinda early tmr to go meet buntz n charmaine in bugis...somewhere other than orchard finally! buuut i can't go to sleep coz carnivale is on at 12.40am and i have to watch it..missed last week's episode coz i was away(having a great time though) but read the episode guide to fill myself in..HBO's episode guide is super detailed thank god so i feel as if i actually did watch the thing..about half an hour till it starts...in the mean time i should go decide what i wanna wear tmr and stuff so that i can wake up a bit later tmr...but i'm gonna be late to meet buntz anyway...as is typical of Ms Shaanjeet Kaur...but i never used to be this way...i wonder what happened..i guess always having to wait for people turned me against being early..i absolutely HATE waiting...it's annoying..must go back to being my old punctual/early self..haha didn't even look at my homework by the way...so much for starting today and what not..it ain't gonna happen tmr coz i'll be out the whole day so i'll make another attempt on sunday..hate homework..blah...

grr..only 5 ppl turned up for netball! predicted...ran 5 rounds..stretched..rested for about half an hour then went to the gym to work out..complain about lack of people and then left at 11.15...BORING! wanna start on my homework today...seriously doubt it's gonna happen...anyway i'm hungry and i smell food...so i'm outtie

yay yay yay! cut my hair today!! feels damn good!!!!! went to town with charmaine n max today to do some shoppin..can't stand walkin around town with a bimbo bag under my arm...wish i could get the cool round adidas bag..at least it looks sporty! can't remember where i saw it though...but i know i wasn't imagining it..anyway hit the usual spots around town..topshop, forever 21, was supposed to go to mango n zara but decided instead to take a walk to the other side...coffee bean at forum..spent quite a while there chattin laughin makin fun of each other...MBBS(private joke)..haha charmaine was embarrassin herself trying to keep her hair dry..recently rebonded u see..she was desperately avoidin any stray drop of water which had a possibility of falling from the sky above..her umbrella was over her head even when there wasn't a hint of the slightest drizzle..haha charmaine don't worry..the whole world won't find out coz ur just about the only person who reads my blog anyway! yeah so after orchard i had to go meet my khalsa netball friends to have dinner and a post-kedah discussion..i was late as usual...but not very so no problem..hehe..had dinner at pastamania..had spinach tortellini again..was good..the meetin was fun..talked about what happened during the trip and our team's plans for the coming year..need to get more girls to join coz we've only got about 8 or 9 players..we wanna get some flyers out and everything..even plannin to go to the punjabi schools to promote our team..we're desperate.......grrr gotta get up early and head to CJ tmr for netball training...hopefully a decent number of people come so we can actually train! it's frustrating having so few girls turn up and we spend so much time tryin to decide what to do...man it's gettin late..gotta get to sleep..night!

bloody hell it's hot out....came home a while ago..was in school for drama orientation meeting thingy...BORING!! was fallin asleep cuttin pieces of scotch tape for max n jasmine..armpit was there as well..narin sick n geri MIA as usual..brought my digi cam n took some photos..shld upload them her but can't be bothered at the moment..got quite a bit to do today...my room is in just about the worst state ever..absolutely dread cleaning it up..sooo lazy..it's the bloody weather! omg then there's holiday homework...seriously! grrr..gettin down to that's gonna be difficult..got a whole lotta chem n a whole lotta maths..*cry* anyways i had better start on today's mission...signing out

i'm baaaack! reached s'pore this morning at abt 5.30 n got home at 6.30. went right to sleep. didn't get much sleep on the bus but had fun on the journey back if u take away the highly embarrassing parts which i will not elaborate on. i already miss being there..though there were so few netballers this time it still rocked. came in second.. again.. next year the title is ours!!! ah the memories..had an excellent time..wish i could still be there! gotta unpack now..grrr

i still haven't packed...this is not good...

maaan..leaving for kedah tmr night..so much to do so little time...my folks n sis are already gone so i ain't gonna be gettin any help with packin n stuff..i know i gotta start but i am really too lazy...my body's juzt exhausted from my almost non-stop activities last week...ran myself ragged..now i juz can't get movin..if i sit down i can't get up..raaaa. thankfully i've already started on one aspect of packin..the list makin part..hehe but even that ain't complete..nothin good on tv..tt really sux. gotta go to east coast later for my cousin's b'day..and me bein me..i haven't gotten her anythin of course...but seein as it is her 16th b'day i'll owe her..not gonna leave my hse today n tmr except for the party. Had a nice time last night with my gang...Present: Max, Buntz, Amarpreet, Charmaine, Shaan; Absent: Geri..haha.. well started off by supporting maxine singin with her church ppl outside coffee bean in gardens..then watched the circle light up hahaha...so drama..after tt went to makan at athar..n then adjourned to bunty's..going to narin's hse is always enjoyable coz her parents are really nice ppl n her bro is very entertaining..was supposed to go to school for netball this mornin but woke up sick and aching so decided to just rest at home..quite excited abt leaving tmr..hehe..anyway better go attempt to pack..blah
